Pura Vida! It’s the unofficial motto of the country of Costa Rica, as I learned from a recent trip. You will hear this greeting from everyone, which basically means ‘Pure Life’. It's also used by locals as a greeting or expression, simply meaning that life is short, so be grateful for what you have. Tiny Costa Rica, surrounded on both sides by water, and covered with forest in between, is a nature lovers paradise, and the country's inhabitants, known as Ticos, are grateful for these treasures. This Central American country is well known for its eco tourism, beautiful national parks and abundant wildlife.

Located on the slopes of the Poás Volcano in Costa Rica, the 240 hectare farm has become Starbucks global agronomy headquarters. I got to learn about coffee making and did coffee tasting of course.
