Kokanee Salmon Caught During Whitecaps on Whiskeytown Lake
This video is about my recent Kokanee salmon fishing trip at Whiskeytown Lake, CA. The weather forecast was incorrect. We ended up fishing two hours in very high wind conditions causing whitecaps on the lake. Fortunately, the fish bites did not stop. We landed more than four limits with about two hours of fishing. Lightning Quick Net Job to Keep the Last Catch of the Day
Kokanee Salmon Fishing at New Bullards Bar Reservoir: Part 6 of 7. The two Kokanee Salmon limit at this reservoir is twenty fish. We already had 19 fish in the cooler. So when the next take-down happened, we thought it was an easy pick. No so.... The fish fell off the hook and we thought it was gone. That is until we looked inside the net. What an amazing memory captured on video for your enjoyment. Come and join our journey. Don't forget to follow, like and share this video.
Proper Trolling Speed Means More Kokanee Salmon In the Cooler
Kokanee Salmon Fishing at New Bullards Bar Reservoir: Part 5 of 7. After missing so many fish, Mr. Warren decided to increase the trolling speed from 1.0 MPH to 1.4 MPH. This resulted in a better hookset, and we were able to boat a lot of fish. Come and join our journey. Don't forget to follow, like and share this video.
Slow Trolling Speed Can Cause A Lot of Soft Bites
Kokanee Salmon Fishing at New Bullards Bar Reservoir: Part 4 of 7. Between the first landed fish and the second, we must have missed around 30 fish. We would get a take-down, but as the fish near the boat, they would become unhooked. We discovered latter on that we were trolling too slow. Come and join our journey.
