Hi guys! This is just a quick update video to show where we ended last week in our kitchen reno. Not much has happened so, it's a quick update. We are gearing up for the Holidays, we have family is coming in, so with all the hustle and bustle not too much has happened. We hope everyone has a very happy holiday whatever you celebrate. In today's video Tiffany started on the project of painting the fronts of our Ikea cabinets so that when the doors and drawers go in you don't see any of the white base cabinets. We also installed all of the cover panels. Our things we ordered from Home Depot started rolling in so we may end up having a kitchen for Christmas after all. Hi Guys!! In today's video we reveal the new flooring to you guys! I was most excited for this transformation because I knew how much of a difference it was going to make in our home. We are continuing right along with the next steps in the kitchen with installing the cover panels and finishing up the island bracing for cover panels as well as countertop support on the dishwasher side. Tiffany got the doors and front put on all the cabinetry in the bar area. Surprisingly it was pretty easy. All the Ikea cabinetry is adjustable once you put it on which I think is a cool feature. Considering Tiffany did it by herself one person can handle that easily.

The time has finally come to hang some cabinets. It's actually easier than we thought it would be to hang them. The hard part was getting the rail up and completely level and plumb. I feel like we have the most crooked walls in history! Join us for all the hilarity! We will see you guys in the next one!

Lot's has happened in the last few weeks. We had a fur baby in the house and we got all the electrical roughed in. Things are taking shape in the kitchen. Still a long way to go but it's getting there. I got busy after the electricians left patching all the sheetrock so that we can get ready to pour concrete to close the hole in our floor. Let me start by saying neither one of us have every demoed a kitchen before. bathrooms yes, kitchen no. So we probably have an unorthodox way of going about it but we got it done! So now the next step is getting the electrician in here to do their part and we can start installing cabinets. Hope you enjoy seeing us not knowing what we are doing haha!
