In Towson, Maryland, workers at an Apple store have become the first to unionize. The unionized workers outnumbered the anti-union votes two to one. The Towson workers are affiliated with the International Association of Machinists (IAM), a labor union. The union vote could spark a broader movement for unionization among other tech companies. Organizers are calling the anti-union campaign "nasty."

Day 4 of construction on County Highway Z in Adams County is underway and noticeable progression is apparent within this first week, despite the spontaneous rain.
