Gunmen Stick Up Smoke Shop - Caught on Camera
By Dan Gesslein Queens Voice September 6, 2023QUEENS - At least three gunmen pointed weapons at an employee inside a Bayside smoke shop and robbed the shop of merchandise and marijuana products cops said. The dramatic robbery was caught on camera. At around midnight on September 4, a group of men walking into Zaza Smoke Shop, across from the White Castle on Bell Boulevard. Surveillance cameras from inside the smoke shop captured the men dressed in hoodies and face masks, pulling out handguns and pointing them at the 20-year-old employee. Cops said the gunmen took $9,000 worth of merchandise and marijuana products. Investigators said the robbers left the store and hopped into a stolen black BMW with a defective headlight parked in front of the store. The crooks then drove off. The suspects were last seen wearing black hoodies and hats and face masks. Each wore surgical gloves. Summer Violence Continues Across the Bronx
BRONX - Crime scene investigators and detectives have been busy recently as at least seven people are dead after a series of violent, unrelated incidents across the borough. Unofficially, police have made two arrests in these open investigations.
Gunmen Stickup Residents at Apt Buildings in Bronx, Manhattan
BRONX - A man whose disguise looked like “The Mummy” and two other bundled up suspects are being sought for a pair of armed robberies in the Bronx and Manhattan. Police released surveillance video of the bundled up suspects who are wanted for armed robberies in the two boroughs. One of the suspects wore white fabric stretched across his face and covered his head making it look similar to the mummy.

Brazen Gunmen Rob Bodega Blocks from Cops
BRONX - Police are looking for a trio of brazen gunmen who robbed a bodega a few blocks away from a Bronx police station. Investigators released surveillance video taken from inside the grocery store that shows the gunmen waving their weapons as they entered the corner store and were visible to passersby on the street. The gunmen walked into the store wearing dark clothing, hoods and masks.
Gunmen Rob Driver of $4K Cash, Liquor Bottles
BRONX - A man delivering liquor was mugged for his booze and his cash by a gunman in the Bronx. At around 4:20 am on April 9, a 38-year-old man was sitting in his vehicle in front of 2081 Wallace Avenue near Pelham Parkway. As three men surrounded the vehicle, one in the group approached the driver’s side window and pointed a gun at the driver.
Gas stations targeted by gunmen in the Bronx
BRONX - Police are looking for several men after the latest incidents taking place at local gas stations-- including a man shot in the face during a robbery. According to police, the shooting took place at the Gulf Gas Station, located at 1805 Webster Avenue at 12:45 a.m. on March 3, when the unidentified 51-year-old victim was pumping gas into his vehicle when he was wounded.
Purse Snatchers Open Fire on Good Samaritan in the Bronx
BRONX - A Good Samaritan was shot at when he tried to help a woman escape a pair of purse snatchers in the Bronx, cops say. At around 11:45 pm on November 3, a 28-year-old woman was walking down a street in Mount Hope. As she walked past a deli at 230 East 174 Street, she was approached by two men in black. Investigators said the men exited a black vehicle and then darted past a parked van to run up on the woman with guns drawn demanding the purse.
