$270 million factories set for construction in Clay County this year
The roofing and insulation company IKO confirmed Thursday its plans to build a $270 million manufacturing campus in Clay County. Construction on the new site is set to begin later this year near Florida Highway 301 and County Road 218, IKO wrote in a press release. The new facility will consist of three factories and is expected to be complete by 2026.

Clay County Commission votes to rezone rural residential land for commercial use
Clay County commissioners voted Tuesday to rezone 7.5 acres of agricultural residential land in Green Cove Springs land for commercial use. Located off County Road 315 in Green Cove Springs, the “flex-space warehouse project” would allow for an approximately 130,600-square-foot building that could be three to four stories tall. The two parcels that were rezoned sit between Business Park Court and a single-family home, putting it on the border of other rural residential land and commercial and industrial spaces.
