Albertson’s expands service on Uber Eats app

Idaho’s own Albertson’s Cos., announced this week it would roll out delivery service with San Francisco-based Uber Eats to 2000 more stores in Connecticut, Indiana, New Hampshire, Utah, Vermont, and Rhode Island.

Tomorrow, New Jersey’s plastic bag ban in effect. Stores and restaurants barred from offering single-use plastic bags and foam products - effective May 4, 2022. Starting May 4, 2022, New Jersey retail stores, grocery stores, and foodservice businesses may not provide or sell single-use plastic carryout bags and polystyrene foam foodservice products.
A new place to do your grocery shopping opening soon in Forsyth County
Lidl grocery store opening soon(Kimberly Bond) Forsyth County residents will soon enjoy a new grocery shopping experience at the Lidl opening at The Shops of Kelly Mill. Located at the corner of Bethelview Road and Kelly Mill Road, Lidl will be the first small specialty grocery store in the western part of the county.

Plastic Bag Ban Coming to NJ
Since 2020, NJ has been slowly introducing bans on single-use plastic products like plastic bags, straws, and more. Starting in November 2020, NJ made it so “no municipality or county can adopt any rule, regulation, code, or ordinance concerning the regulation or prohibition of single-use plastic carryout bags,” according to a plastic bag ban timeline.
