The Gathering Place is having another FREE movie night in less than a month! June 23 is the night so mark it on your calendar. Movie starts at 7pm but pre movie fun starts at 530pm. You can come even earlier and enjoy the park and more fun things they offer. Movie is still to be decided but it’s always a family fun movie night! They will have free activities and food trucks selling delicious food and popcorn!

With the warmer spring weather, here’s a fun activity that will get you out of the house and introduce you to sights in your area you might not know about. Spring is around the corner. In some of the more southern regions, it’s already flirting with us and appearing on our doorsteps. Here in north Texas, it was warm enough yesterday to be outside trimming some bushes. I drive down our street and see the Bradford Pears starting to bloom and bud out. The Redbuds are aflush with their brilliant pink blossoms.
