Northern Bear Folklore

The birth myth of the bear is similar in all Eurasian areas which suggest that the northern tribes were connected with one another. A bear birth myth from the Ob-tribe is a well-known myth among all Finno-Ugric tribes. Finnish myth is very similar. Ob´s were a Finno-Ugric tribe whose modern descendants are Hansi and Khanty tribes.

One of Colorado's Most Haunted Buildings is Estes Park, Colorado's Stanley Hotel

Just outside of Denver, Colorado, is the Rocky Mountain town of Estes Park. Where you can find The Stanley Hotel perched on a hill. The Stanley Hotel is known as the inspiration for Stephen King’s 1977 novel, "The Shining." We are going to tell the stories of some of the many Colorado local legends and lore that exist about this hotel.
