DougCo residents encouraged to get flu shots before Oct.31
(Douglas County, Colo.) DougCo officials and the Center for Disease Control urge residents to get flu vaccines before the holiday season. The CDC recommends people get their annual flu shots in September and October. Experts urge people to get shots by Oct. 31 since it takes two weeks for antibodies to develop following vaccination.
