The crystal-clear water of the spring maintains a constant temperature of 72 degrees Fahrenheit, making it an ideal spot for year-round snorkeling and diving. Admission to Devil's Den is $18/pp Monday-Friday and $25/pp Saturday and Sunday for snorkelers. You can also rent snorkel gear for an additional $12. Scuba diving is $38 dollars with an option to rent full scuba gear for an additional $45. Snorkelers MUST make a reservation prior to visiting. Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium | Sarasota, Florida | Fun Day with Family
Mote Marine has had its history here in Florida since 1955. Originally opened in Placida, Florida. It had its headquarters in Sarasota since the 60's and officially opened the aquarium to the public in 1980. My husband and I haven't been here since elementary school on a field trip, so it was nice to bring our kids back and see the wonder and amazement in their eyes. We visited September 21, 2022, during the week. Which was a great time to go, it wasn't busy at all. I am sure on weekends and holidays and in the winter months they are much busier. But as a local we know when not to go, lol. Thanks for watching, we hope you enjoy!
Clermont on a Budget
January is strawberry season and what better way to celebrate than by picking some fresh ones at Southern Hill Farms? Clermont has a fun downtown area with many shops and restaurants to choose from. I visited Montrose Street Market for my lunch and am looking forward to trying more local spots on my next visit. Finally I take you to the Citrus Tower which is a vintage Florida attraction offering amazing views! Please comment after watching if you enjoyed this video and suggest where I should go next! Follow along for more fun travel content.

Ever since moving to Florida, we have been on a mission to explore many of the state's incredible springs. We recently visited King's Landing in Apopka, FL and it did not disappoint! We rented a canoe for $60 for 4 hours to explore the beautiful Emerald Cut and crystal clear water. Let's Spend a Day in America's Oldest City
There’s music playing from seaside cafes and long-haired retirees driving by on trikes and bikes. There are oodles of people wearing swimsuits with subtle coverups, and the scent of suntan oil wafts on the breeze. Local shops sell brightly colored swimwear and kitschy souvenirs that say things like “Life is better at the beach” while children are chased by their parents as they cross the brick-lined streets. It’s loud, busy, colorful, and entirely St. Augustine, Florida.
A Girlfriends Guide to Fort Lauderdale
Post has been written with help from the team at AC Hotel Fort Lauderdale Beach. I received no compensation, free product, or stays. For me, there’s nothing better than hopping into the car and taking the hour-and-a-half drive down to Fort Lauderdale. There are so many secret spots that I’ve fallen in love with over the years and I try to make time every now and then for a little weekend with the BFFs (especially when Rachel, my co-host of The Compass Girls Show is in town).
Ugly Grouper: A Must Eat Restaurant on Anna Maria Island
We stumbled into Ugly Grouper on our last day on Anna Maria Island and we are so glad we did. Not only did we find delicious food but also funky decor, live music, and incredibly friendly staff. We highly recommend dining at Ugly Grouper if you are in the area. There is plenty of free parking on site and the staff does their best to make your outdoor dining experience comfortable in the Florida heat with umbrellas and fans.
