Soak in the sunset at this beautiful beach on Anna Maria Island
Enjoy this Florida beach vibes video and the waves, sea birds, and the sunset! Soak in the pure beauty at this beautiful spot at Bean Point on Anna Maria Island. Besides the beauty of the beach, the sea birds are always busy skimming for food or courting each other on the beach. Another unique feature of this beach is that you can actually see the changing tides of the water. The waves, currents and rip tides can be strong at this beach; so many folks may simply come and just enjoy the views of the subtle sand dunes and lovely golden pinkish sunsets. Please enjoy this brief calming moments of nature and sunset video, relax and breathe. Have a great day everyone! Spend the day on Shell Key finding sea urchins, crabs, jellyfish, sand dollars, and endless shells!
Enjoy the day on Shell Key! Shell Key is a small narrow barrier island located in Pinellas County, Florida. The primary ways to reach Shell Key is by boat or by kayak (or other water craft), of which the Shell Key Ferry launches daily from Fort DeSoto and has a fee of $25 per person. When taking a kayak out, be sure to review your map prior to departure. The kayak ride can take up to an hour to reach Shell Key, depending upon where you launch from. So remember to bring enough water, sunscreen, and snacks. There are kayak rental kiosks when you enter the Fort DeSoto Park and pay the entrance fee. On this adventure, we saw a live sea urchin, two crabs, two jelly fish, and a sand dollar. Its pretty cool to see all this underwater life! *We return the live sea creatures that we find- back where we found them. You can learn more about the adventure to Shell Key here on my blog article! https://fitlifeandtravel.com/2021/06/11/shelling-adventures-kayaking-to-shell-key-florida/
Dinner at Frenchy's Outpost Bar and Grill
In today's video we take you along with us to try a new to us place in Dunedin Florida. Dave had to pick up a part for his truck and we figured we would make a "date night" out of it. We really liked this place! The food was so delicious! If you like small little beach bar / restaurants you will love Frenchy's Outpost Bar & Grill. Since we were so close to the beach we decided to put our toes in the sand and enjoy the beach views at Honeymoon Island State Park. I was so excited for this because after 3 years of living in Florida this was my first time seeing the beach☺️🏝☀️ so beautiful!!
A paddleboard adventure gone wrong! We found leakage!
This video is incredibly emotional for me. I wasn't sure whether sharing it would help or make me feel more vulnerable. What started as a beautiful day on the lake took a turn when our paddle boards gave out on us. Mike, if you're watching, thank you for your kindness and willingness to help two women stranded on the water. We appreciate you. Cameras can be replaced. Boards can also be replaced. What matters is only that we are safe. Grateful for our life jackets, for Leah keeping me calm, and for new days. Music provided by Epidemic Sound
