A haunted house may not be the first place you would expect to find a flea market, but this weekend, the Hotel of Horror has opened its grounds to vendors for a great cause. On Saturday, May 21, and Sunday, May 22 only, the Hotel of Horror Flea Market is open with proceeds benefiting Blue Ridge Hook and Ladder Fire Company of Saylorsburg.

If vintage treasures, antiques, handmade and repurposed goods are your thing, Bremerton is home to a flea market that takes place every Saturday, all year long. More than 25 vendors hawk their wares in the full space of The Dusty Pug, a vintage store that’s open Wednesdays through Saturdays. They have a large space where the vendors are set up once a week.

A quick visit to Flea Traders Paradise is a great experience. Vendors have a wide assortment of crafts and merchandise, inside and outside. Indoors is air conditioned, quite, and comfortable. Outside had unique items and collectibles that are priced accordingly.

It's the first time I'm one of the vendors from this flea market event. Actually, my friend is the vendor, and I'm just a little helper to move things around. It is a full day starting from 2AM in the morning and finishing around 3PM. And we're in the orange section with other antique shops. It is quite fun but very tiring. The shop next to us has been participating in this event almost every month for twenty-five years. Not sure if it'll be possible for me to stick to this long-hour job for a while.
