We've had 2 does kid and so far this kidding season hasn't gone easy on the difficulties or inconveniences but we're doing our best to roll with the punches! Today we have a newly rejected baby goat that's becoming our bottle baby and a Hypoglycemic/Hypothermic newborn goat that needed immediate help! Lucky for him, our hail mary worked! #NigerianDwarfGoat #Babygoats #dairygoats It begins! The on slot of kidding is ramping up and we're on barn duty almost 24/7 as we welcome new members to our Nigerian Dwarf Goat Herd. We love these little dairy goats and the sweet baby goats that will soon be bouncing all over the place! Today it looks like Molly will be trying to stealth birth without me there. But I'm sure glad I caught her labor on camera for all of you and she needed a little help pulling one of her new babies!

We have random small holes all over the yard. Sometimes I like to fill them in to keep from tripping in them. This hole is one of Bun's favorites, and she showed me what she thought of me filling in her favorite hole.

My granddaughter loves hanging out in the chicken yard when she can. Today she sat down and fed the bunny some treats. Bun can be skittish, so she did really good with a 4-year-old giving her treats not to run away. Such a great bond, and hopefully, my granddaughter will have wonderful memories of the animals and Grammie and Grampa's house.

I purchase a pair of turkeys. I wanted a male and a female, and that is what I got. I also, got 3 little chicks and the turkeys took over mothering them. It was a beautiful thing. Their little noises are so sweet.

After weeks of puzzlement, Whitehouse Farm Centre's staff members have finally cracked the case, thanks to a recently installed video security camera. Located in Northumberland, England, Whitehouse Farm Centre holds the distinction of being the largest family-operated farm attraction in the area. Covering 40 acres of land, the farm is home to an extensive collection of animals that visitors can interact with under the guidance of hospitable staff. Visitors can learn how to properly handle, feed, and care for an array of exotic and domesticated animals, including the affable Leicester sheep named Lucy who resides on the farm. The farm is open to school groups, families, and all other visitors.
