While staying at the Little River Inn in Mendocino, California, we decided to spend an afternoon exploring the little historic town. It was so charming. Our highlight of the day was touring the Kelley House. In addition to the house tour, a historic walking tour of the whole town also starts at the Kelley House. The next stop on our family California road trip was Mendocino, where we were invited to enjoy a stay at the Little River Inn. Little River Inn started as a family home for early California settler Silas Coombs in 1864. Then in 1939 his son-in-law, Ole, expanded the home into an Inn. 80 years later the Little River Inn is still run by the family and hosting guests lucky enough to experience this coastal retreat. Just an easy summer day in our favorite spot in Newport Beach, CA. We are a few months behind, but we finally got to go check out the new Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Hollywood for Kevin's BDAY. Luckily for us, it was too busy and we were able to do some things, but we will definitely have to go back and explore more.
