Roan Mountain State Park in the Fall/Autumn | Tennessee | Appalachian Trail | Carvers Gap
In this video, we give you a wonderful review of this AWESOME state park! We share helpful information if you would ever want to visit this area. Roan Mountain State Park is located in Roan Mountain, Tennessee. Surrounded also by National Forest. Such a lovely area! We visited in the fall, so the leaves were really beautiful! Love traveling this time of year to see the fall colors! We also took a quick 13-minute trip outside of the park to visit Carvers Gap, a gap in the mountains where you can get on or get off the Appalachian Trail (for those who don't know what the Appalachian trail is: it's a 2,190-mile trail that starts in Georgia and ends in Maine, goes through 14 states) Very popular trail that likes to stay on mountains tops! Any who, our son wants to hike it someday, so any chance we get, we try and hike bits and pieces of it. So, at Carvers Gap you can get on and hike as much of it as you like. We just took it about 3/4 of a mile hike up to the top of a bald and got panoramic

Fall Creek Falls State Park in the Fall | Tennessee

But wanted to share this really beautiful Tennessee State Park in the Fall, with you all, enjoy! We spent just a few hours in this beautiful park on our way through Tennessee, but WOW!
