A Seasoned Newsman's Opinion: Bogus Reporting is Rampant

As a career award-winning journalist for the past 29 years, I am increasingly disheartened every time I turn on a television news broadcast. False information and personal opinions are spewed everywhere. What's worse, they are being presented as if they were facts constantly. In contrast, facts are rarely provided to support those opinions and when they are, they are most often only half-truths, drastically taken out of context.
There are different interesting facts about different countries. Let's take a look at some unknown facts about Russia
Russia is the largest country in the world in terms of size. They occupy one-eighth of the world's land area. Russia's position over a large part of North Asia and Eastern Europe. The country ranks ninth in the world in terms of population. The full name of Russia is Federation of Russia . Its capital is Moscow. The current president of Russia is Vladimir Putin. Russia has an area of one crore 60 lakh 75 thousand 200 square kilometers and a population of 14 crore 44 lakh 83 thousand 451. The largest country in the vast world of Eastern Europe is rich in mineral resources. However, there is some interesting information about this country that may not be available in any other country. I came to know this interesting information about Russia out of my own interest.

For an article to be “fake news”, it has to have bad facts. “Fake news” is a false flag when it responds to articles that contain true facts.
