(WEYMOUTH, MASSACHUSETTS) The New England Wildlife Center is a grassroots, nonprofit wildlife hospital, and science education facility. It is an incredibly valuable resource to animals in Massachusetts as the only comprehensive wildlife hospital in the metro Boston area that can provide care for sick, injured, and orphaned wild animals. Since its opening over 30 years ago, the Center has treated more than 120,000 animals.

New York State legalized human composting or Natural Organic Reduction, making it the sixth state in the United States to do so since 2019. In this composting process that takes around 60 days and doesn't use chemicals, the deceased person's remains are placed in a container with organic materials like straw, hay, or sawdust. The container is sealed and connected to a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system, which helps the remains decompose faster through microbes. After 30 days, the content is checked for any remaining bones, which are then crushed and put back into the container. After another 30 days, the content is returned to the family members.

Anyone in the City of Tampa looking to secure an alternative mode of transportation – an eBike – has until Friday at 5 p.m. to apply for Tampa’s eBike Voucher Program.
