The Toronto Raptors finished 41-41 last season as the 9th seed in the Eastern Conference. The Raptors then choked away a 19-point lead to lose to the Chicago Bulls in the play-in game.

Although the New Orleans Pelicans experienced injuries to Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram throughout last season, the team finished 42-40 and was the 9th seed in the Western Conference.

Although the Washington Commanders finished 8-8-1 last season, optimism abounds within the organization because Dan Snyder is no longer the owner. New Commanders owner Josh Harris will look to turn the organization around and will look to make them perennial contenders just like he has done in other leagues with the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA and with the New Jersey Devils in the NHL.

The Tennessee Titans (7-10) were one win away from winning the AFC South Division despite having so many injuries on the team. However, the Titans lost 20-16 to the Jacksonville Jaguars in the final game of the regular season.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won the NFC South Division last season with an 8-9 record. During the offseason, QB Tom Brady retired again. Many Bucs fans were hoping that he was lying again and was coming back for another season, but Brady decided to remain retired for real this time. The Bucs signed Baker Mayfield to compete for the starting QB spot against backup QB Kyle Trask.

The San Francisco 49ers were 13-4 last season and won the NFC West Division. However, quarterback injury issues hit this team again when Niners QB rookie sensation Brock Purdy was injured in the NFC Championship loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

After the Seattle Seahawks traded Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos, the team appeared to be in rebuilding mode. However, QB Geno Smith had one of the best comeback seasons in NFL history which led to Seattle finishing 9-8 and securing a Wild Card berth in the NFL Playoffs. The Seahawks ended up losing 41-23 to NFC West Division foe San Francisco 49ers.

The Pittsburgh Steelers started off slowly, but went 7-2 after their bye week and finished with a 9-8 record after turning things over to rookie QB Kenny Pickett. Hopefully, the Steelers will use that momentum from the end of the season in order to compete this season in what will be a tough AFC North Division.

The Philadelphia Eagles were so close to winning the Super Bowl, but lost 38-35 to the Kansas City Chiefs. The Eagles will look to soar again this season by adding even more depth to a team that went 14-3 last year.

The New York Jets appeared like they were ready to make some noise last season after starting the season out going 7-4. However, the Jets ended up being grounded due to quarterback issues and lost their final six games of the regular season.

The New York Giants had a nice turnaround season by going 9-7-1 in the regular season and winning a playoff game on the road against the Minnesota Vikings. However, consistency must be built into the franchise because the Giants have not had two winning seasons in a row since 2011-2012.

The New Orleans Saints had quarterback issues once again and finished with a losing record of 7-10. However, the Saints addressed that issue in the off-season by signing QB Derek Carr from the Las Vegas Raiders. The signing of Carr gives New Orleans a better chance to win the NFC South this upcoming season.

The only two reasons the New England Patriots finished with a losing record of 8-9 last season were because Matt Patricia and Joe Judge being the offensive coordinators and the infamous Jakobi Meyers lateral against the Las Vegas Raiders. All three of those players are gone from the Patriots organization this upcoming season.

The Minnesota Vikings ran away with the NFC North Division Title with a 13-4 record. The Vikings finished four games ahead in first place by winning almost all of their games by a close margin. Minnesota won eight of their 13 games by eight points or less. However, living on the edge does not work in the NFL Playoffs, where the New York Giants defeated the Vikings at home 31-24 in the NFC Wild Card Round.

The Miami Dolphins suffered many injuries at quarterback and at running back last season, but they still finished second in the AFC North Division with a 9-8 regular season record. The Dolphins put up a valiant effort, but they lost 34-31 to the Buffalo Bills in the Wild Card Round of the NFL Playoffs.

The Los Angeles Rams finished 5-12 due to injuries throughout the squad. The Rams will look to bounce back this season with a healthy Matthew Stafford back at quarterback again. The Los Angeles organization is rather optimistic because the Rams had 14 picks in the NFL Draft. Here is a look at who the Rams selected in the Draft.

31-30 has left Los Angeles Chargers fans 5150 about their team all year long. The Chargers were up 27-0 in the second quarter against the Jacksonville Jaguars in the AFC Divisional Round only to lose 31-30 on a last-second field goal.

The Las Vegas Raiders appeared to have put themselves in a good position last off-season after trading for WR Davante Adams. However, the Raiders regressed under new head coach Josh McDaniels and missed the playoffs entirely with a 6-11 record.

The Kansas City Chiefs won their second Super Bowl in four wins with a 38-35 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles at Super Bowl LVII (57 for those who do not know Roman numerals). However, the AFC is loaded once again, so the Chiefs will need to add even more depth this upcoming. Here is a look at who Kansas City selected in this Draft.
