Denver may forgive court fines, restitution under $300
(Denver, Colo.) Although Denver approved a contract with a collections agency to recover unpaid court fines and restitution on Monday, some people may be off the hook for repaying debts under $300.

Felony suspect Edgar Solis involved in shooting with officers in Hemet
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department release information regarding an officer involved shooting in Hemet. According to the official release, on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, about 4:09 P.M., deputies and officers from the Riverside County Gang Task Force were searching for a known suspect in the city of Hemet, with three felony warrants for carjacking, robbery, drugs, and weapons charges.
Denver City Council questions parks staff about on-call contracts
(Denver, Colo.) The Denver City Council quizzed city staff members over millions of dollars in contracts at Monday's City Council meeting. The first batch of questions came from City Council member Amanda Sawyer regarding Parks and Recreation Department contracts. The department asked for approval of 17 on-call contracts totaling $17 million for landscape design services.

Dru Katrina Sjodin.Sjodin Family. On the 22nd of November 2003, University of North Dakota student, Dru Katrina Sjodin was abducted from the parking lot at Grand Forks’ Columbia Mall. Dru was only 22 years old when she was kidnapped and murdered. She had been working that afternoon at the Victoria’s Secret store. When her shift ended, she did some shopping at the mall and then headed through the parking lot toward her car.
