# Comfortable
Relatively low humidity and comfortably warm temperatures make a prolonged visit to the New York City area
Good afternoon everyone and welcome to a feel of late summer (for now). We have comfortably warm temps and relatively low humidity for quite a stretch that may span beyond 7 days if things work out. We'll have a few upticks of humidity here and there, but for the most part we are on the comfortable side compared to what we just experienced. We're also on the quiet side rain-wise, with just a very slight chance of a popcorn shower tomorrow and Thursday late afternoon; then a chance of steadier rain Friday. Enjoy it while it lasts!
Comfortably warm weekend for the New York City area, heat gradually builds into "mini" heatwave Wednesday thru Friday
Good afternoon everyone. We have an absolutely beautiful day today with relatively low humidity and an overall comfortably warm feel. We'll go warmer as each day progresses, but we'll keep the humidity to a minimum tomorrow. After that, all bets are off as heat and humidity continue to build to a crescendo on Friday, where temps may go 95-100 depending on the final wind profile. Beyond Friday, we could possibly have a serious of reinforcing cold fronts, knocking us down into the 80's aside from a hotter day here or there. Highest thunderstorm risk looks to be Friday with that cold front, but we could see a popcorn storm here or there starting on Wednesday.
