Following the trade of All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams this offseason, the Green Bay Packers had a massive hole to fill in their offense. With Marquez Valdes-Scantling also gone, Green Bay's only addition to the receiver room with NFL experience has been the often-injured Sammy Watkins.

The first two days of the 2022 NFL Draft are complete, with Rounds 4-7 taking place today. The Green Bay Packers entered the draft with obvious holes and a large collection of draft picks to fill them. The Packers draft picks have been met with mixed feelings and different Packers draft grades amongst the fanbase. On Friday, the Packers selected Christian Watson and Sean Rhyan.

After a first round that saw the Green Bay Packers draft two defensive players out of Georgia, the Packers wasted no time on Day 2 of the 2022 NFL Draft. Fans were waiting to see who Green Bay drafted at wide receiver, and they traded up to the 34th pick in the draft to select Christian Watson, wide receiver out of North Dakota State.

The 2022 NFL Draft is coming up on April 28th, so 49ers draft rumors are heating up during the 2022 NFL Scouting Combine. Watson has quickly risen up draft boards following his year in 2021 and running a 4.36 40-yard dash at the 2022 NFL Scouting Combine.
