Coq au Vin- Classic French Dish Made at Home
There is a new show on HBO Max called Julia. If you haven't seen it yet, you should definitely watch it! It is such a cute and entertaining show. It was probably one of the big inspirations for Brian's dish this week, Coq Au Vin. Coq Au Vin is a classic French dish that Julia Child helped make famous. The dish literally means chicken in red wine and is a delightful stew of flavors that stays with you. Not going to lie though, Stephanie was a little sad with the 4 cups of red wine that went into the dish! Overall, it was worth it for this fancier dish! Even one of our little BS'ers said it was good. Don't worry the other 2 will learn to love food one day! Ingredients used- chicken thighs, salt, black pepper, red wine, bay leaf, thyme, carrots, white onion, baby bella mushrooms, garlic, parsley, celery, potatoes, bacon, pearl onions, sugar, tomato paste, all-purpose flour, sherry Be sure to follow us on Instagram- https://www.instagram.com/nobseateries
Easy chicken stir-fry with vegetables
My "go to" dinner recipe during a busy work week. A quick and easy chicken stir-fry with vegetables. I usually use chicken breast cut into cubes and sauteed in sliced onion and crushed garlic. For the veggies, I like carrots, bell peppers, mushroom, cauliflower, broccoli florets and whole young corn.
Tandoori chicken, naan bread and samosas
A Friday night themed-dinner with homemade tandoori chicken marinated in spices and yogurt overnight. Store-bought samosas cooked on the Ninja air-fryer, naan bread, basmati rice, store-bought gulab jamun or donut halls simmered in syrup and mango lassi.
Pollo Asado with Salsa Verde and Tortillas- Everything Made from Scratch!- Home Cooking
So fun story, we didn't own a grill until a few weeks ago when Brian acquired one from one of our sweet neighbors. Brian fixed it up and ordered a rotisserie so of course he had to break it in before we leave for vacation. He made pollo asado with a homemade salsa verde and homemade tortillas. It was all so great! Brian, being from California has always talked about loving Pollo Loco and so he wanted to put his own spin on things (literally). Every part of this meal was so delicious! Ingredients used- garlic, cumin, salt, black pepper, oregano, anchiote and cilantro seasoning, pimenton, vinegar, olive oil, orange, lime, whole chicken, white onion, tomatoes, jalapenos, cilantro, all-purpose flour, baking soda #polloasado #rotisseriechicken #athomecooking Be sure to follow us on Instagram- https://www.instagram.com/nobseateries/

Mediterranean chicken with garden tomatoes and basil
Love growing different varieties of tomatoes, in different sizes and colors. On this video, I harvested a bowl of colorful tomatoes which I cooked with chicken and kalamata olives for dinner. Seasoned with a pinch of salt, a good cracking of black peppercorns and a teaspoon of smoked paprika. Then garnished with basil which I also picked from the backyard garden. Yum!
Pickled mustard greens with chicken and tofu
Nutrition-packed and rich in disease fighting antioxidants, mustard greens have many culinary uses and one of my favorite ways to prepare them is to pickle in salt and vinegar. On this video, I pickled the mustard greens I harvested from our backyard garden, and then cooked with chicken and tofu.
