NFL Preview: A Look at Week Two's Games
Iām fairly happy with last weekās picks. Once again, I donāt pick against the spread, I just pick who I think will win outright. Last week I went 12ā4. I missed the Lions win over the Chiefs, the Bucs upset over the Vikings, the Bengals collapse against the Browns, and the Rams dismantling of the Seahawks. Iāll take 75% winners each week. Now on to week two.

Opinion: Love Conquers All and Other Thoughts About Week One of the NFL
It was an eventful week for New York Football. Last year Aaron Rodgers proclaimed his ownership of the Chicago Bears. It seems that ownership has been conveyed from Rodgers to Jordan Love. Love led the Packers to a convincing 38ā20 win over the Bears. Love threw for 247 yards and three TDs with no picks against the Sad Sack (well, one sack) Bears defense.
4 positive takeaways from Bears season opener loss
Let it all out, Bears fans. This is not the outcome fans wanted to start the seasonā especially against rivals Green Bay. With the departure of Aaron Rodgers, many thought this game would be an easy win. Yet Jordan Love and the Packers dominated, unfortunately. The Chicago Bears are 0-1; they join the Kansas City Chiefs, Cincinnati Bengals, Minnesota Vikings, and more with their first loss of the season. But aside from the loss and questionable plays, there were a few positive takeaways.
Packers Still Own the Bears Under Jordan Love
It's only Week 1, but Green Bay Packers fans have to be feeling really good right now. In a game that was supposed to be another close Packers vs Bears rivalry matchup, Green Bay manhandled Chicago in the second half. The Packers outscored the Bears, 28-7, through the final quarter and a half to pick up the first win in the Jordan Love era. Both sides of the ball were dominant for stretches of the game, and the boobirds were raining down early at Soldier Field. With the win, the Packers should have all the confidence in the world going into a Week 2 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons.
NFL Great Willie Gault On "Citizen Athlete," Reign Energy, Writing & More - "Paltrocast" Exclusive
An intimate and inside look to the Women's U.S. Bobsled team leading up to the 2022 Beijing Olympics, Citizen Athlete will be premiering this month at the Mammoth Film Festival. As written by Ryan March and directed by Brandy Wille, Citizen Athlete features plenty of Monster Energy athletes, including Kaillie Humphries, Elana Meyers-Taylor and Aja Evans; the journeys of these and other athletes is chronicled within the documentary. One of the star athletes who participated within Citizen Athlete was Willie Gault. Gault played 11 seasons in the NFL, winning a Super Bowl as part of the legendary Chicago Bears' 1985 squad. Prior to turning pro, Gault had qualified for the 1980 U.S. Olympic team as a track & field athlete. He later made the 1988 Winter Olympics bobsledding team as an alternate. Gault has since been inducted into multiple athletics-related Hall Of Fame institutions and has also found success as an actor. I had the pleasure of speaking with Willie Gault via Zoom on March 3, 2023, as embedded above and aired viathe Paltrocast With Darren Paltrowitz television series. Beyond Citizen Athlete, we talked about Reign Total Body Fuel, the Bears' infamous "Super Bowl Shuffle" and how great he was in the classic NES video game Tecmo Bowl. Opinion: Nagging Concerns About Ryan Poles and the Bears
There have been some swings and misses. There are a lot of things to like about the Ryan Poles regime. He seems to have handled the recent draft well but there are some concerns creeping in about some free agent signings. It seems that some of the moves were born of desperation and just didn't pan out. While the Bears have had a ton of cap space, that doesn't mean they have to spend it like a sailor on leave for the first time in a year. Let's consider some examples.

In a fun twist during their intense training camp, the Chicago Bears demonstrated their playful side as they engaged in a spirited water balloon fight that had everyone's spirits soaring. The Chicago Bears Will Win the NFC North in 2023
From worst to first? It doesnāt happen incredibly often. Not only is winning a division in the NFL tough, but turning around the ship from a last place season to a first place one is incredibly difficult. Thatās exactly what the Chicago Bears are going to do this year. In a division with talent, but uncertainty, I think the potential of top end the Bears possess will take them over the hump.
Bears Player Insults Packer Fans and Calls Them Obnoxious
While it is only mid-June, the Green Bay Packers-Chicago Bears rivalry is alive and well. And since the only W's Chicago is picking up against Green Bay is in the offseason, this is the best time of the year to be a Bears fan, as Chicago defensive lineman Justin Jones said in his press conference on Tuesday.
2023 NFL Draft Review: Chicago Bears
Although the Chicago Bears finished with the worst record in the NFL last season, optimism remains high within the organization. The team lost eight of their games by ten points or less, so they were in plenty of games throughout the season. However, Chicago could not find that extra oomph to win games in crunch time.
Opinion: Bears GM, Ryan Poles, has been Good, but not Perfect
Like most Chicago Bears fans, I give new GM, Ryann Poles generally good marks for his work thus far. While his work is, good, like all GMs, it hasn't been perfect. For example, I'm guessing if he had it to do over again, he would not have dealt the Bears' second round pick for Chase Claypool. While it's too early to call Claypool a bust, the second-round pick would probably be more useful. Even if Claypool has a good season, he will cost a lot to resign. Plus, his presence could influence the Bears' draft.
Opinion: Best Chicago Bears from 1965 Forward
I started rooting for the Bears during their 1963 championship season. During that time Iāve seen thousands of players come and go. Out of those thousands, Iāve put together my list of the top 10 Bears from 1965 onward. Youāll notice that there are no receivers or quarterbacks on the list. Over the years the Bears have had a disproportionate amount of outstanding running backs and defensive players suit up for them. Not surprisingly, the 1985 Bears are well represented. Letās get started.
Grading the Bears Personnel Groups After Day One of Free Agency
The Chicago Bears wasted no time in using their ample cap space to upgrade the team. Ryan Pace has been a very busy man, though not all of the Bears' signings were what were expected. For example, many, including myself, expected the Bears to sign 49ers right tackle, Mike McGlinchey. Instead. McGlinchey signed with the Denver Broncos.
Diving Deeper Into The Panthers Big Blockbuster Trade
The Carolina Panthers are trading away D.J. Moore and draft picks to the Chicago Bears for the No. one pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. The Bears will receive Carolinaās first (Nine), second (61), a first-rounder in 2024, and a second-round pick in 2025.
