Tonetta Carlisle(Joseph Dycus/Chattanoogan) Tonetta Carlisle finished school around 2:30 pm on Thursday, March 16, 1989, and started making the one-mile walk to her house in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Normally, it would take her around 25 minutes to make it home. On this day, however, she never made it home.
