New South American Restaurant Opens in Long-Vacant Location
While restaurants come and go, the physical carcass of some former restaurants often lay in ruin for years. Dead, empty spots left to collect dust. For one reason or another, new restaurants skip over these locations. Perhaps not wanting to test fate and try their hand in the house of the previously failed establishment. Other times there’s an issue with the vacant space. However, while location is often the name of restaurant real estate, a quality restaurant with exceptional food can overcome just about anything. That is what a new establishment is hoping for, as it moves into a space that has been vacant for nearly three years.

Best Ceviche on O'ahu
This spot is my go to for ceviche on the island of O'ahu. I have tried a bunch of their dishes now and the tostada is my favorite. But this is a must-try spot! Limon Rotisserie - Peruvian Restaurant Burlingame
We ordered the Cheese empanadas, La Copa Ceviche, Lengua, Polli-Papas & 1/4 dark rotisserie chicken. My kids love the cheese empanadas & Polli-Papas. The ceviche & grilled Lengua over mashed potatoes were my favorites. I would have liked a wider beer selection but had a great dinner.

New Peruvian Restaurant Opening Soon
Enjoy ceviche at the new Peruvian restaurant.Pirata Studio Film/Unsplash. When it comes to culinary scenes around the world, there are a handful that tend to steal all the recognition. Italian, Mexican, French, not to mention, for better or worse, American fast food. However, one cultural food often left off the list of top-tier food offerings is Peruvian. For anyone that has ever visited the South American nation though, the food experience demands attention, and there is a reason the second best restaurant in the world (according to the esteemed “The World’s Best Restaurants” organization) is located in Lima, Peru. In fact, three Peruvian restaurants were listed before any out of the United States (a New York restaurant ranked 33). Despite the world recognition for Peruvian cuisine, there are few local restaurants in metro Phoenix. To help with this, a new Peruvian restaurant is opening in Phoenix’s Melrose District.
