Swastika, KKK drawn on Autism Center
NEW YORK - The NYPD is looking for a man who drew symbols of hate on a building that houses an autism center in the Bronx. The NYPD released surveillance video of a man drawing swastikas and KKK signs on a building at 2105 Jerome Avenue. At around 5 am on October 26, the man is seen on video walking up to the door of the building. He pulls a marker out of his pocket and draws on the door.

Slashed on 42nd Street
MANHATTAN - The NYPD released surveillance video of a couple wanted in the slashing of a female subway rider at the 42nd Street station. At around 6:30 pm on November 19, an 18-year-old woman got into an argument with a man and a woman as she was entering a northbound A train at the 42 Street- Port Authority Bus Terminal subway station.
Six Teacup Poodles Stolen from Apartment
BRONX - That’s Ruff! The NYPD is searching for a group of poodle thieves who removed six pups from a Bronx apartment building. The NYPD released surveillance video of at least two suspects inside the building in Charlotte Gardens near Crotona Park. Investigators said the thieves came with keys for the apartment by unknown means.
Chokers Attack Man for Cell Phone
QUEENS - The NYPD is searching for two men who placed a Queens man in a chokehold to steal his phone. At around 4:30 am on November 7, a 39-year-old man was walking in the vicinity of 92nd Street and Roosevelt Avenue. Cops said two men ran up behind the man and placed him in a chokehold. The attackers dragged the victim to the ground choking him as he hit the sidewalk.
Fare Beater Beats Taxi Driver
MANHATTAN - An elderly taxi driver was knocked unconscious by his passenger who refused to pay the fare, the NYPD said. At around 1 am on November 10, an 82-year-old taxi driver drove his cab to 40 Canal Street. At the location, the passenger refused to pay the fare. The passenger exited the taxi and the driver confronted him, demanding he pay up.
Social Media Seller Robbed at Gunpoint
MANHATTAN - A Riverdale man looking to sell his jacket on social media was robbed at gunpoint when he met the seller, the NYPD said. At around 3:40 pm on November 11, a 24-year-old man went to West 242 Street and Broadway. Cops said the man met an individual on social media when he was trying to sell a jacket.
Moped Riding Chain Snatcher Strikes on Concourse
BRONX - A Bronx woman had her gold chain ripped off her neck in the wink of an eye from a thief riding on a moped, the NYPD said. At around 12:30 pm on November 15, an 18-year-old woman was walking on the Grand Concourse near Fordham Road. Cops said a man on a black moped raced up to her. The rider reached over and ripped the gold chain off the woman’s neck.
Rolex Thieves Pistol Whip Man in Village Boutique
MANHATTAN - A man is recovering after being pistol whipped by a pair of thieves who stole his Rolex and other jewelry while inside a Greenwich Village boutique, the NYPD said. At around 5:20 pm on November 15, two men entered a shop on Stanton Street. They walked up to a 26-year-old man inside the store and hit him in the back of the head with the butt of a handgun.
Supermarket Shooting Caught on Surveillance Video
BRONX - A dramatic shooting inside a Bronx supermarket was caught on surveillance video. The NYPD is searching for two gunmen. At around 2 am on November 15, a 22-year-old male was inside a Soundview supermarket on Lafayette Avenue. Police said the man was approached by two males in black hoodies.
Subway Cell Phone Thief Schools Youngster
MANHATTAN - An elderly cell phone schooled a young subway rider in Lower Manhattan when he conned his way out of getting caught, the NYPD said. At around 2:30 pm on November 4, a 26-year-old male was sitting on a bench at the southbound platform of the J Train at the Essex Street and Delancy Street subway station. Cops said an older man walked by and snatched the man’s iPhone out of his hands. He then removed the youngster’s sunglasses off his head.

MANHATTAN - A woman walking a block away from Lincoln Center was robbed at gunpoint by a man and a woman, the NYPD said. Investigators are hoping the female suspect’s red pom pom boots will help lead to the couple’s arrest.

BRONX - One man is dead, and a woman remains in critical condition after a vehicle collided with a tree along Jerome Avenue, outside of the Woodlawn Cemetery. Police officers from the 50th Precinct were called to a long stretch of roadway on Jerome Avenue, between Bainbridge Avenue and East 233 Street on the Norwood – Woodlawn Heights border, after a 911 call at 3:20 a.m. on November 12.

BRONX - A 60-year-old is recovering after being beaten and slashed across the face by a group of six men in what the NYPD is calling a random attack. At around 11:30 am on November 10, a 60-year-old man was inside Devoe Park, across from Fordham Terrace. Cops said four men and two women surrounded the park goer and without warning began punching him.
