California’s Most Prosperous Silver Town Reborn
One of the most successful Silver mines in California history was in Calico, California. It was here that a community bustled with production and became synonymous with its influence. In its later years, like many productive mining communities, it fell on hard times and was thought to be lost and abandoned. But an infamous name and face in California came along to save it from being all but forgotten and preserve the structures while rebuilding others. Today we explore the infamous Calico Ghost Town, a town that simply will not die and instead will live in legends.
