Delicious Frito Chili How To | Quick - Easy - Budget Friendly | Dutch Oven Turkey Recipe
Here in Maine, the weather is cooling off, and we are thinking of yummy warm food that's good for the soul. Chili comes to mind, but we don't always have the time to cook a full-blown pot of it. This is a quick, easy, and budget-friendly version that my granddaughter, Katie, helped me make. For time's sake, most of this chili is made from a can, but getting some of the ingredients from your garden would be so much better. Enjoy! Ingredients: 1lb turkey or hamburger 1 large onion, chopped (optional) 1 jalapeno, chopped (optional) 1 teaspoon taco seasoning 1/2 teaspoon chili seasoning 1 can tomato sauce 15.5 oz. 1 can tomato paste 6 oz. 1 canned fire-roasted diced tomatoes 14.5 2 cans pinto beans 15.5 each (or beans of your choice) Cook 30 mins. Garnish: shredded cheese of your choice tomatoes jalapenos onion lettuce sour cream
Distressed Farmhouse Wall Home Decor | Dollar Tree Upcycle | Wall Pocket DIY
I couldn't get these wall pockets at my Dollar Tree, so a friend sent me a couple, and I couldn't wait to get started on it. I tried a new paint technique with vaseline to help distress, and it worked well, but it's not quite what I wanted. The vaseline resists the paint, and you can wipe it back in certain spots. I was surprised to see it crackle, looking nice and distressed.

DIY Rustic Cutting Board | Easy Home Decor | Budget Friendly
I love the cutting board decor, but I find it expensive. Usually, if I find something expensive, I try to develop a way to make it myself. I sketched out this board freehand and a bigger one to make my home decor. I used scrap wood and a few power tools to shape it into what I wanted. I made up a special stain and went to town creating. The grater was a great find at an antique store, but I have seen brand new ones on Amazon and found a way to rust them to look old. I hope you enjoy my creation.
