Making SHAKSHOUKA for brunch
Shakshouka is a dish from Tunisia which is perfect for breakfast or brunch. It is eggs simmered in flavorful tomato sauce. I used harissa sauce, but forgot to record that part. I also added chopped lemon verbena, one of my favorite herbs, freshly-picked from our backyard edible garden.
Sunday brunch
Filipino sausage we call "longganisa" which is a typical breakfast dish growing up, eggs cooked sunny side up, fried eggplant, boiled okra, rice and coffee. For the dipping sauce, I used calamansi harvested from the backyard garden and soy sauce. The flowers were also picked from the garden. Have wonderful week ahead! ❤️

Shredded pancake with berries
Pancakes and waffles are some of my favorite breakfast to prepare especially if we have berries in the backyard edible garden that are ready for picking.
