SHELTON, CT - At 11:15am on May 4, 2022, Shelton Firefighters and EMS responded to Sheehy Lane for a Santa Fuel Truck into a home. Crews found the driver still inside and unresponsive. One of the things that every kid dreams about is getting up close and personal with some of their favorite Disney characters. And, if we are being completely honest, we also love to get in close with the characters and get that awesome photo. The photo experience has evolved a lot over the years. When we were younger, there was no official line or photographers. Disney characters would roam around the park, swarmed by parents and kids armed with cameras loaded with real film. If you made plans to dine at Fuddruckers in Apopka or Orlando the commute just got a lot longer. If you are not on Facebook these days, you may have missed a quick farewell message from Fuddruckers as they have shuttered the doors on the final 2 locations in Central Florida yesterday. It is not uncommon for restaurant operators to announce closures on social media these days and save some of their loyal patrons from making a trip and seeing the dreaded sign on the door upon arrival. We aren't sure if there are any corporate ran Fuddruckers left, the franchise locations in any chain are only as good as the owner/operators so make sure to try multiple locations to find the best one.

When I look out from a top the Ocean Beach Pier in San Diego I noticed Tow Boat US removing a boat that washed ashore. I could not determine if the boat was transporting people or drugs but appeared to be something illegal due to the lack of markings and condition of the boat and location where it washed ashore.
