In Tennessee's Blount County on February 12, a series of burglaries in residential properties, outbuildings, and utility trailers eventually led to an arrest on May 17, 2023. The Blount County Sheriff's Office claimed that the arrest was related to the burglaries but declined to reveal the location of the arrest.

Putting in close to 90 minutes of work removed almost 80 pounds of trash from our local streets.

Maryville Alcoa Blount County Parks and Recreation hosted their 1st annual Paws In The Pool event and it was a blast! There were two separate swim times, an earlier one for small dogs and a later time for the big dogs. They hosted multiple vendors along with a law enforcement K-9 display, and plenty of freebies for the pups.

The Look Rock Tower is located along the scenic Foothills Parkway and is a natural observation ledge overlooking the area. It's an easy 1/2 mile hike from the parking lot that leads to an observation tower which provides a spectacular 360-degree panoramic view of the mountains and the surrounding valley.

Blount Pride was an event held at Jack Greene Park in Maryville, Tennessee. The event was described as family-friendly with face painting, a beanbag throw and chalk art activities. There was also a drag queen show along with a "Rainbow Storytime" event read for families that want to enjoy Blount Pride with a heartwarming story.

With 2 Amazon facilities already under construction in Blount County, it's time for the 3rd to break ground in this small, quiet East Tennessee town.
