Coronado Beach in San Diego is rated the 2ND BEST BEACH in the United States of America. It has great views of cliffs in the distance, the beautiful Hotel del Coronado behind it, AND the sand contains "mica", a mineral that causes the sand to glitter when the sun shines on it. Tripadvisor released it's annual list of the top 25 beaches in the United States. Only one Florida beach made the top 10 in 2022. Siesta Beach, located on Siesta Key along the gulf coast of Florida, ranked #2 in the US and #14 in the world.
