With more than a dozen man-made nesting platforms and other natural sites, it's not unusual to see ospreys soaring high above Lake Allatoona. The recent wind storm left locals in shock as high winds knocked down a bald eagle's nest in a tree near White Rock Lake in east Dallas. Fox 4 reports that the nesting pair was seen flying in circles around the area and returning to where the nest once rested.
