Well, another pond exploration in the books, and this one I had company. A few of my camping buddies joined me for this one. We found a nearby homestead foundation, ate great camp meals, had wonderful campfire chats, and overall it was a very good trip. This is another pond in the Charles C. Deam Wilderness that was either built by the Civilian Conservation Corps or was part of some of the original families that settled the area and tried to make a go of farming. We had great sunny weather on Saturday of this trip and it was nice to have my friends with me.
