Welcome Back Pages! This is one of my most kept SECRETS that I am thrilled to share with you as apart of our BHM Highlight Series! Johnny’s Chicken & Waffles is located off Main Street in College Park, Georgia right across from the Marta station. This establishment is owned by Singer/Songwriter Neyo and his better half, Celebrity Chef Crystal Smith and they also Co-Own along with Actress Karlie Redd from VH1’s Love & Hip Hop Franchise as well as Bounce TV’s, Saints & Sinners. This restaurant is absolutely amazing. Upon entering, you are greeted by such glamorous colors, plaques on the wall highlighting Neyo’s accomplished singles, the seating is so intimate, & the staff is definitely well-trained. They make you feel like family for sure. Finally, I must say the Chicken & Waffles are to die for!! Time to turn the page of my diary to another TOP-Secret place that I thoroughly recommend to all! Our second stop of our Black History Month feature is Roc South Cuisine located off Buford Hwy in Brookhaven, Georgia. We visited during brunch hours on a Sunday and concluded that it is very important to make a reservation before coming. However the food was worth the wait!!! We also had impeccable service from the valet to the host, bartenders, & servers. 10/10 we definitely recommend that you check the place out and don’t forget to tell them who sent you.
