In this video, we're off our couch at Fort Clinch State Park in Fernandina Beach, Florida on Amelia Island. Fort Clinch State Park consists of 1,400 acres and offers hiking, mountain biking, birdwatching, access to the beach, and more including the opportunity to explore a historic fort, Fort Clinch. Fort Clinch is one of the third system fortifications built to defend the coastline of the United States. Exploring the museum and the fort takes us through the. history of this fort and its role in American and Florida history. We end our time at Fort Clinch State Park by venturing to the beach right outside the fort and enjoying the waters, excellent shelling, and hunting for shark teeth! There's a lot to explore at this beautiful, lush state park; let's explore together!
