New Census Bureau report reveals 1.4 million Californians behind on rent
If you’re a California renter who is living in fear of being evicted, you’re not alone. According to a May 2022 U.S. Census Bureau survey, an estimated 1.4 million California renters are behind on their rent. Approximately 1.1 million renters reported they were not at all confident they would be able to make next month’s rent payment.
