Maybe the CREEPIEST Place We've Ever Visited! Fern Springs State Park • Pappy's Riverwalk
In this episode we spare you the boring part of the journey while we ran errands and saved the best parts for the video. First, we stopped at Pappy's Riverwalk, an adorable complex in Blairsville, Ga that has food, fun things to see, shopping, and tubing on the Nottely River. After that, we ventured off to Fern Springs State Park, a place that has been abandoned for longer than it's been in use. Built in the 1930's, this park is stunning in its beauty and a bit creepy, as well. We got separated just as the storms rolled in and both had interesting tales to tell when we reunited a bit later. Just out of Jacumba Hot Springs, California sits an interesting site out in the desert. These abandoned train cars have been sitting here for quite some time, and I imagine will be here for quite a while longer. If you're passing through this area they are definitely worth the short hike to get to.

Whole Town Left Abandoned After 60 Years of Underground Fire
Centralia, Pennsylvania was small town in a rural, coal-mining country of Pennsylvania. Since 1962 an underground coal fire has been smouldering. Centralia's inhabitants were forced to move away due to the instability of the ground here, over the years the town turned into a ghost town. Now hardly a house is left standing, only an empty grid of streets, some cracked roads and smoke emanating from the ground as evidence of the continued fires underfoot. It's an eerie place to visit, but tourists still come to see what is left of this once bustling town left in ruin.
