Southern Crescent Women In Business Celebrated In Style & Purpose with The 1st Wearable Arts GALA
Stockbridge, GA, September 18, 2023– On Thursday, August 31st, 2023, Southern Crescent Women In Business hosted their 5th Year Anniversary Wearable Arts Gala and Business Conference with Keynote Gala Speaker Dr. Stephanie Jennings. The Conference included several notable panels and guest speakers such as an Access to Capital Panel, a Wealth Panel, a Local & Federal Government Panel and more. The Conference concluded with their Annual Funding Pitch in which Southern Crescent Women In Business awarded their 6th woman owned business, Ms. Chelsea Cook, with funding and additional business support. The U.S. Small Business Administration, The U.S. General Service Administration, GDOT DBE Office, and a host of other key organizations were present with a host of small business vendors. After the conference concluded at 2pm, the doors to the The Wearable Arts Gala opened at 5pm. The entire day was hosted at The Merle Manders Conference Center, located at 111 Davis Rd., Stockbridge GA 30281.
