A pretty competitive game from both teams that looked pretty much offensively like Jalen Hurts and Boston Scott vs. Taylor Heinicke and Jaret Patterson. Hurts continues to look like the franchise quarterback option for Philadelphia, putting the eagles back in the playoffs and knocking Washington out completely. The Cowboys deliver the worst blowout of the season and one of the best in the last decade. Washington will have a lot to go back to the drawing board about. There was nearly nothing positive to take from this besides not being shutout. Dallas has two very winnable games for their last two: Arizona Cardinals and Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles looked like a well oiled machine, Jalen Hurts looked efficient throwing for nearly 300 yards on 20/26 attempts, Dallas Goedert hauled in 7 receptions for 135 yards, and Miles Sanders had a season high 131 rushing yards on 7.3 ypc. On top of that the defense held Antonio Gibson to 26 yards on 1.6 ypc and Terry McLaurin to 51 yards on 2 catches. The Washington Football gave it a run BUT in the end, they simply didn't have enough and didn't take advantage of opportunities presented by the Eagles in a matchup of two (6-7) ballclubs, Washington falls 27-17 to the Eagles; Here's my analysis of the game and where the season is heading after the loss....
