(WEYMOUTH, MASSACHUSETTS) The New England Wildlife Center is looking for volunteers to help them get ready for their upcoming Halloween event. For the first time since Covid, NEWC's annual Night of a Thousand Faces is coming back this October. But, in order to prepare for the spooky event, they need your help!

While Florida is often renowned for its pristine beaches, they're not always as pristine as we'd hope. A waterway cleanup event hosted by the Old Salt Foundation at Madeira Beach will aim to make the shorelines just a little less cluttered, while also offering prizes to would-be helpers.

LAPWAI, ID - Lapwai Fire Chief William Skiles would like to express his gratitude to all the local fire departments who helped him with escorting Jimmy Ralstin home today after the volunteer firefighter spent several weeks in a Seattle hospital for treatment of burns suffered while fighting a fire in rural Nez Perce County in mid-May. The 70-year-old Ralstin and his family left Seattle this morning after 97 days at the University of Washington Medicine Regional Burn Center at Harborview Medical Center.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors of College Park (NHN-CP) is a dedicated community organization that relies on the support of volunteers to assist seniors in our local area. As members of the Chicago Chapter of Sewa International's LEAD 2023 program, we volunteered on the morning of June 4th, 2023, at the annual Buffalo Grove Pride Parade. Echo Hospice of Orange County is looking for volunteers to provide its patients with end-of-life comfort and companionship. There is a particular need for artists and musicians.
