This LED Lighting we Installed Under our Cabinets in our Bus Conversion Turned out Great!
We installed LED lighting along the toe kick of our cabinets today. It was so easy and looks great! The lights come in a large roll that you can cut to size with scissors, clip in a wire harness, peel the paper off that covers that adhesive, stick it in place and then wire crimp the pre-ran wires together. Our youngest son, Seth introduces all his Thomas and Friends trains while Shane is working. We hope you enjoyed Seth’s sweet camera time.
We’re Designing and Building our Own Dinette Seat for Our Bus Conversion Project!
Today we are slow moving. Our baby is due to be born any day now and we are racing to finish our bus conversion project before the babies arrival. In a bus conversion almost everything is custom, and the dinette seats are too. We have to build them around the wheel wells that are located at the front of the bus. The seats are built with three drawers and will be upholstered in leather. We are excited to see the bus coming together so nicely. Hurry, hurry before baby arrives!

This Family of 10 Almost Could not fit their New RV Fridge in their Bus Conversion!
Picking out an refrigerator can be an daunting task especially when trying to meet such specific needs. One that was a hybrid and can run off of propane, 12v and 120v. Has a freezer drawer and a large refrigerator that can hold enough food to accommodate our large and growing family. We searched, and searched and finally found exactly what we were wanting. Today, we are installing the fridge in our bus conversion. We were extremely disappointed when we realized our refrigerator was wider than the hallway the fridge was to fit down. Dad was determined to find a way to make it fit. He discovered that if he took off the refrigerator doors that it was the perfect width to fit down the hallway. Whew! That was a close one. The whole family was happy to checkout the newly installed refrigerator.

I Wasn’t Sure if Wireless Cameras Would Work on our Bus Conversion Due to the Steel Construction!
When we were looking for a backup camera system we decided to go with the wireless option because it meant not having to run as much wiring. The only concern was we were not sure if the wireless technology would work well with the steel exterior of the bus. We though it may cause interference. After the install we gave it a good test and it seems to work good.
It’s Time to Prep our Bus For Paint! Bondo Work, Sticker Removal and Sanding is Just the Beginning!
Painting a 40’ bus is no small job. If it’s going to be done right, a lot of preparation work has to go into it before the paint starts being applied. The metal surfaces must be smooth and free of any debris. Any Bondo that has been applied must be well sanded and primed before it is ready for paint. ► FOLLOW us on INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/thebuslifeshow ► FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/goodnewsbus
