A New Food Hall / Food Court is now open in Downtown Tulsa.
The New Food Court (Food Hall) is now open in the Bank of Oklahoma Tower (Williams Tower) in Downtown, Tulsa. It’s open to the public and currently had 6 restaurants. The restaurants include Chicken & the wolf, Senor Pablo, Tokyo Garden, Froot Bowls and Rib Crib. Qt / QuikTrip will also have a location opening soon. On our visit I enjoyed a hibachi steak fried rice bowl from Tokyo Garden and my wife had an Açaí bowl from froot bowls. My streak bowl was tasty and my wife loved her Acai bowl. We were stunned by the beauty of the plaza seating and common areas. We are excited to come back to try more food and see the new QT when it opens.
Delicious Local Pizza I’m Tulsa, Edmond and OKC at Upper Crust Wood Fired Pizza
Today we tried out Upper Crust Wood Fired Pizza in Tulsa. It’s a local Pizzeria with 3 locations - Tulsa, OKC and Edmond. The atmosphere in the Tulsa location was nice and comfortable. They have many tv’s throughout the restaurant and a nice outside patio. They offer a great selection of appetizers. We went with the pepperoni rolls. They were amazing! We all thought they were very tasty and we highly recommend them. For our Pizza we got one Chicken Florentine and one half Pepperoni, half cheese. The pizzas were delicious. Sauce and cheese were good and the crust was a great with combination of soft insides with a crispy outer layer.
Enjoy Delicious Pizza at Andolini’s Sliced in Downtown Tulsa.
Andolini’s Pizza is one of the best local pizza restaurants in the Tulsa area. There are multiple locations and we recently tried out the Andolini’s Sliced Blue Dome Downtown Location. They serve a variety of Pizza Types including Tulsa Style, STG Napoletana Pizza, Roman Square Slice, NYC Style, and Brooklyn Style. During our visit we started with two appetizers, the fired mozzarella slices and the meatballs. My wife and I had the special slice for the day which was the Vesuvio. It was a delicious slice which consisted of house made smoked mozzarella, chicken breast and red rock salt. Our boys had traditional pepperoni and cheese slices. If you are wanting some delicious food, visit Andolini’s.
Cheri Ann’s Trattoria is a delicious local Italian Restaurant in Broken Arrow
We have now visited Cheri Ann’s Trattoria many times now and we absolutely love eating at this local family owned and operated Italian restaurant in Broken Arrow. They serve up a great variety of Italian food and have daily specials. My wife and both of my boys favorite is the Farfalle with white wine cream sauce. I love it all. My last visit, I had the Ravioli both meat and cheese ravioli with the pink sauce. Everything we have tried here has been great. I will say it is a fairly small restaurant so make reservations or arrive early. It stays busy because it’s so good. You can find them on Main Street in Broken Arrow’s Rose District.
McNellies Public House is a favorite in Downtown Tulsa.
We stopped by McNellie's in Downtown, Tulsa after watching a Tulsa Drillers Game. We have visited a few times and we really enjoy the outside patio, the food and the drinks. McNellie's is an Irish-style pub with locations in Tulsa and OKC. They serve a large variety of classic, homemade pub fare. 🍽 The atmosphere in McNellie's Downtown is cozy and friendly. They have plenty of seating downstairs, upstairs and on the patio. 🍔 Our last visit we enjoyed the quesadilla and chips and salsa. The quesadilla was surprisingly good. In previous visits we have enjoyed the burgers, mozzarella sticks and more. 🍺 Also, they offer one of the biggest beer selections in the state with over 60 on tap and another 250+ in cans/bottles. Downtown Tulsa is the original location and is a great place to hang out and enjoy great food and drinks.
Scratch Made Fresh Food at Cherry Street Kitchen in Downtown Tulsa
Today we tried out 🍒 Cherry Street Kitchen in downtown Tulsa. They serve scratch made food with fresh ingredients. The restaurant has a fun and bright atmosphere. They have a variety of paintings along the walls, flowers and plants on the tables and comfortable seats. The food was delicious… like seriously good. I had the chicken pot pie. It came out with a great texture of crust and tasty fillings that included chicken, corn, potatoes and more. My wife had the veggie sandwich wrap which she loved. She actually said “wow” after she started eating it. The staff were friendly and attentive. We were very happy with the service. If you’d like to try them they are located on 5th and Boulder (near the Mayo Hotel) They used to actually be on Cherry street years ago but closed during COVID and reopened in the downtown Tulsa.
The Bros. Houligan providing Delicious Comfort Food in Tulsa for over 25 Years
My family and I enjoyed Bros. Houligan for the first time recently. I had been hearing great things about their multiple Tulsa locations and we ended up visiting the location on Yale. The Bros. Houligan has been serving Tulsa delicious comfort food for over 25 years. They are known for their chicken fried steak sandwiches and Cottage Fries (waffle fries served with a side of gravy) We started out with some mozzarella sticks, fresh baked rolls and onion rings. Both the apps and the rolls were great! I ordered the fish and chips special. The fish was great and the batter was delicious. I really enjoyed the cottage fries. My wife had the marinated chicken salad and boys had a kids cheeseburger meal and a chicken strip meal. The Bros. Houligan is a great place for a delicious meal in Tulsa.
Tally’s Good Food Café is celebrating 35 years of serving Tulsa on Route 66
My family and I enjoyed trying out Tally’s on Route 66. It had been years since we had last eaten here. The food was great. We really loved the pizza fries. (Fries covered with mozzarella cheese, pepperonis, bacon, and served with marinara sauce. I enjoyed Chicken Parmesan as my meal, my wife had chicken salad and my boys had pancakes. Tally’s first opened in Tulsa on Route 66 in 1987. They have since opened a second Tulsa location ran by Mr Tally’s son. The Route 66 location is open 7 days per week for breakfast (served all day), lunch, and dinner. They have more than 100 dishes most are American food and they are known for their breakfasts and big entrees.
Delicious Breakfast at the Big Biscuit in Broken Arrow
Last weekend my family and I enjoyed trying out the Big Biscuit in Broken Arrow. The food is delicious. I love the Bonut (a biscuit, dipped in french toast batter and fried to golden brown then covered with powdered sugar) My wife loves the biscuits and gravy. They also cook eggs to order and we were very happy with them. My boys loved the silver dollar pancakes. Not only do they have good food but the service was amazing. Over 100 years of great food in Tulsa’s Savoy Restaurant
Today I met my Grandpa for lunch at the classic Tulsa restaurant Savoy. They have been cooking up scratch made food since 1918. Yes, for over 100 years they have been serving up delicious Homestyle meals, cinnamon rolls and pies. My grandpa reminisced and told me stories about him eating here frequently when they were located in downtown Tulsa. He said it’s still just as tasty. He had some eggs and bacon and biscuits and gravy. I opted for the Thursday special Thursday Roast Turkey hand carved, with cornbread dressing covered with Turkey gravy. My sides were broccoli and mashed potatoes. It was delicious. They are also famous for their cinnamon rolls which you can order to go and are available in other local Oklahoma shops. If you are looking for a one of a kind restaurant in Tulsa that has been serving great food for over 100 years stop on by Savoy.
Delicious food and scenic views at Waterfront Grill
Waterfront Grill is an award winning locally owned restaurant in Jenks. They are most popular for their brunch and the Build your own Bloody Mary Bar but they also have a large menu for lunch and dinner. They pride themselves with using fresh ingredients never frozen. The food is wonderful and the restaurant is fun and inviting.
Fresh and Made to order Asian Cuisine in Oklahoma at KEO
A few days ago my wife and I tried out KEO it’s a new Asian restaurant located in Broken Arrow. (They have another location in Tulsa). They have a mixture of dishes from Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Malaysia. They are fresh and made to order. I loved the Pho which had Wagu Beef, Vietnamese noodles and more. My wife had the Crispy Vegetable Spring Rolls and the Street Vendor Skewers with Coconut Chicken with peanut sauce. It was a fun experience with wonderful staff, seating and food.
Locally owned sweet treat shop Pinkitzel
I was surprised to find out Pinkitzel is a locally owned and operated Candy Shop. They have a few Oklahoma locations where you can find a tasty selection of sweets including cupcakes, macarons, chocolates, gummies, jelly beans, novelty candy and more. We stopped by the Tulsa location and loaded up on all kinds of gummy candy. The decor is fun and vibrant and they even have a seating area to enjoy your treats. If you’re looking for a fun candy and sweet shop in Oklahoma check them out. They have a location in Tulsa, Edmond, Norman and OKC.
Enjoy food with a view at the Sandbar in Tulsa
The weather is warming up in Tulsa. We had a wonderful time at the Sandbar on Riverside. It’s a great place to stop for a bite or a drink before or after a run, walk or jog on riverside. The outdoor patio seating provides beautiful views of the river. We had the hummus platter, chicken and fries and the Tulsa run salad!
Wildflower Cafe on Route 66 in Tulsa
Wildflower Cafe on Route 66 is a cute and fun cafe right next to the big Meadow Gold Neon Sign on Route 66 in Tulsa. They serve breakfast and lunch all day from 7am-2pm every day, 7 days a week. The food is delicious with a Homestyle feel. They have daily specials and a wide variety of breakfast and lunch options. I had the Meatloaf Special, which was so good. It came with mashed potatoes, green beans and a roll. My wife enjoyed the biscuits and gravy with a side of fruit. Portion sizes were just right. It’s a great place to stop for a bite before your visit to Buck Atoms, Decopolis and the other Route 66 sites in Tulsa.
Delicious Gelato in Tulsa and Broken Arrow
Tonight we enjoyed hand made Italian ice cream aka Gelato at STG Gelateria. It was delicious. Similar to ice cream but more creamy. Almost like a pudding in a way. They gave out free samples so we can pick which flavors we want. After trying a few I chose the Peanut Butter Chocolate, Kayla chose the Limoncello, Cash got the Chocolate Chip and Cale got the Lemon Lime. They also started selling bagels and breakfast in the mornings. They have locations in Broken Arrow and Tulsa. We visited the BA location. It’s on Main Street in the Rose District.
Nola’s Creole and Cajin is a one of a kind local restaurant in Tulsa.
Nola’s Creole & Cocktails is on Cherry Street in Tulsa, OK. They serve up delicious New Orleans style food. The Prohibition Era Decor makes this restaurant exciting and unique to dine in. Fun Fact, the restaurant is located in the basement of an old Elementary School. Nola’s is a Tulsa Favorite amongst the locals. If you enjoy Cajun food, we know you’d love eating here!!
Empire Slice House a Local Oklahoma Favorite Pizzeria
🍕 Right next to Cain’s Ballroom in downtown Tulsa is an awesome Oklahoma Local Pizza joint - Empire Slice House. We loved the paintings, posters and toys covering the walls within the restaurant. The Pizza was delicious. I had the Fat Tony (Ricotta, House Italian Sausage, and Red Onion) my wife had the M.C.A. (White Pie - Marinated Mozzarella, Ricotta and Asiago) and our boys stuck with the classic Pepperoni and a Classic Cheese. The service was fast and friendly. They also have a location in OKC.
