We stopped at this location in Vermont to see the newer station and had to check this one out for a quick tour! The Ferrisburgh–Vergennes station is an intermodal Amtrak and bus station in Ferrisburgh, Vermont, adjacent to the city of Vergennes. The facility opened in 2007 as a free park and ride lot operated by the Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans). Bus service is provided by Tri-Valley Transit and Vermont Translines. The historic station building serves passengers at the Amtrak platform located along the southwest corner of the facility. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2021 as the Vergennes Station House. I stopped off in Port Henry, New York to tour the Amtrak station. What an awesome surprise this was! It was a typical small town station but Amtrak helps the local community and hosts a senior center in there. The gentleman who was working there allowed me full access to film inside the senior center and even the kitchen! What a great visit!

We were heading through New York and were near this station, so we had to give it a quick tour. This ones has a nice shelter and is walking distance to the nearby historic fort! What a nice little city nearby with some shopping too! Come along with us on the tour!

We visited the Amtrak Station in Whitehall, NY and will take on a quick tour of the platform, the waiting area and what was right nearby. Have you ever passed thru this station? This was in a nice small town. Great location to head out to New York City from!
