Preparing For A Travel Day In An RV
If travel days we’re this easy to prepare for! There’s a lot that goes into preparing the inside of your rig for a travel day, but here are the basics: move everything off of the countertops and put it all in a safe place, vacuum the floors and underneath the slides to prevent any damage to your flooring or your slides, and if you think it'll move during travel, strap it down! Then you bring in the slides and awnings, hitch up, and you're off! Safe travels! Follow along with our family and our full-time RV adventures!
How To Add 42 Sq Ft To Your Toy Hauler
We absolutely love our Morryde Patio Ex inflatable toy hauler tent. It gives us an extra 42 sq ft in our Alliance Valor 42V13 Toy Hauler for our family of 4 to spread out. This space has so many uses — a school room for our 12 year old son, a play room for our 4 year old daughter, and so much more! We love all of the adjustable window shades and mesh screen windows. And, we love how the tent is waterproof! We have had our tent up in some pretty heavy rain storms, and we are so happy with how it has performed. Follow along for more helpful RV content!
Air Purification In An RV
We have been full-time for almost two years now. I’m not sure why we didn’t think air quality was an importance from the get-go, but it is! Let’s be honest, the filters, or lack there of, in the air conditioners in our rigs are not enough! Not even close! We were about 8 months into full time RV life when I started to develop asthmatic symptoms. We bought a dehumidifier as well as this Blueair Blue Pure 311 Auto Air Purifier, and my asthmatic symptoms disappeared! I still have my regular seasonal allergies, but nothing close to what I was experiencing prior to making these changes. It’s so important to have clean air, especially in such a small space! Storing Kids Clothes In An RV
IKEA Trones are great for storing kids clothes! They’re lightweight, stackable, and take up little space. Follow our family for more RV tips and our full-time RV adventures!
Check Out Our Alliance Valor 42V13 Side Patio
Our family has been full-time in our RV since July of 2020. We have absolutely LOVED the full-time RV lifestyle so much that in January of 2021 we decided to upgrade from our 2021 Forest River Salem Hemisphere 369BL to our 2021 Alliance Valor 42V13 as we wanted something that was really designed more for full-time RV life. We moved into our new rig April of 2021 and we have genuinely loved our new rig, the layout, and especially the side patio. 😍 This side patio is an extension to our living space. It adds 54 sq ft to our rig! It's mine and my husbands little getaway spot in the mornings to drink coffee and watch the sunrise, and in the evenings to sit around the fire pit and watch a movie or talk about our day. When you live in under 400 sq ft, this extra bit of quiet space is such a treat! We recently spruced up the outdoor area with The Glamplife mats! Such a simple way to make our patios more comfortable! Follow our family for more RV tips and our full-time RV adventures!
