El Paso City Council fires City Manager Tommy Gonzalez
A second City in Texas fired its City Manager. On Tuesday, February 28, the Mayor and City Council of El Paso fired Tommy Gonzalez. Mayor Oscar Leeser cast the tie-breaking vote as El Paso voted 5 - 4 to fire Tommy Gonzalez. The former City manager was given a 120-day notice that his contract was terminated.
