Summer may be over, but the fun isn't. For the last leg of the season, NewsBreak asked contributors to submit stories about events and festivities happening in their communities over the past few weeks. The Wine, Jazz & Art Fest will take place on Saturday, August 19th from 3 PM to 9 PM CST at the Billie Limacher Bicentennial Park. Bicentennial Park is located at 201 West Jefferson Street.

The 4th Annual Music for the Mind Festival will be held on Friday, August 18th and Saturday, August 19th at The Camp at Lake Wappapello.
