Stocked trout ponds can be an absolute blast! Often times they’re filled with fish and are typically easy to catch. That was definitely the case on this day when I managed to catch dozens of fish!

The fishing was so good I caught two at once! Brook trout are so fun and beautiful, plus they fight hard!

Fished a new stocked trout spot recently and despite not being stocked since February, the action was red hot! I caught dozens of brook and rainbow trout on a variety of baits, like worms, jigs, spinners, and more!

Trout fishing in PA for the 2023 season has arrived! A local delayed harvest (McMichael Creek) was stocked a few days ago, so my friend and I took a trip up and managed to catch fish!

The Rainbow trout are still active here in the Salt River! Fishing for these stocked trout has been hit or miss for me lately, but we are still managing some nice ones! The bite has been very finicky, for this reason most of the fish have been biting on powerbait. The first day trout fishing the salt river we managed 3 fish (1 off camera) and saw some pretty cool footage on the underwater fishing camera. I put the underwater camera down there any chance I can to see what the fish are doing! The salt river trout fishing is always a mystery, so it was nice to see underwater!

It doesn’t get much better than the day we had today! From big rainbows to lightning trout, we got on the fish here in the Arizona urban ponds! We started with our usual powerbait here but after I found where the fish were hanging out at, I decided to try out some trout magnet jigs and I was not disappointed! We got on a very hot bite and caught some very sizable trout! The rainbow trout stockings are still going on here in urban Arizona for another month or so, Go get out and do some Arizona trout fishing before the end of the season!
