Visiting Fort Stevens State Park is always a delightful adventure. On Thanksgiving day the park was fairly quiet with only a handful of visitors at each stop area. It was lovely to explore the Wildlife bunker viewing area. We started a trail next to the jetty construction site out to the beach and made our way back to the Wildlife bunker creating a loop.

A multi-vehicle crash in southeast Portland left two people dead and two people injured, one with life-threatening injuries, on Thursday night. The crash occurred on Southeast Powell Boulevard and Southeast 63rd Avenue at 9:34 p.m. Responding officers found two people dead at the scene and a third person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. A fourth person was taken to the hospital but police said their injuries are not life-threatening.
